Who are we?
Hello, We are Aniza, David &; our 4 year old boy Juno. After many years of dreaming to come back to Portugal ( Aniza is Portuguese) , we finally did it. We found a little piece of paradise to call home. We are beyond exited with this new life adventure, after many years of living in California, and for having found such a beautiful place , where we can hear the birds sing, grow our own big veggie gardens, raise our own chickens and above all enjoy a simple happy life.
I have a background in textile conservation but a life twist in rural California attuned me to the joys of homesteading, and today being in the garden and adventuring in the kitchen is my very happy place.
Dave has been a farmer and a Nature boy all his life, having worked as a forester and land conservation in California.
And together we have been hot sauce makers and sourdough bakers and many things in-between.
4 years ago we welcomed our boy Juno who is a pirate at heart and is always excited to play and meet new friends.
Returning to Portugal has brought us the opportunity to be closer to family and put our roots in place that our heart is.
The dream is to create a place to relax, play, laugh, share good food and welcome new Friends.
